I just couldn't wait to get home to post today.  I am on a 6 month pre-op diet and this is month 4.  I was so afraid to weight in today cause I blew the heck out of my diet Saturday.  Well I weighed in and guess what I lost a whooping 21 pounds this month that is a 4 month total of 51 pounds .  I am so happy I could just do the happy dance if I wasn't afraid I would fall  lol

That is great!! Keep up the great work.  If you fall off the diet, be sure you just pick yourself up and get back to basics.  It happens to everyone.

Leslie,

Congratulations on your incredible success! You are doing wonderfully.

You know I think that one of the most important things that I've learned ... and to be honest, am still learning ... is that we all make 'mistakes' or fall of the wagon; but the difference between success now and failure before, is that now we see the mistake for what it is, then we just get back to work. Where before we would have thought "Oh heck, I've blown it! Never mind, I can't do this....yada, yada, yada..." That type of thinking, is part of what has gotten us into the mess we found ourselves in. Having a lapse in judgement is part of life. How we manage and deal with that lapse in judgement is really what counts. So keep doing what you are doing. Keep you eye on the prize and keep moving forward. Know that you'll make mistakes again, but you'll also pick yourself up and keep moving forward towards a more fulfilled, healthier you.

Wishing you continued success,

Barbara
